It’s awards season time! Every year, PWE PTA gives out volunteer awards. Please read about them below and submit your nominations before May 12. Winners will be announced at the next board meeting and at the General Meeting on May 12.

This award is given to recognize outstanding volunteers within our school. Generous with their time and talents in the 2025-2026 school year, these individuals bring light and life to PWE's many endeavors, leaving a positive impact with their service in our community.

Receiving this award is one of the highest forms of recognition! At PWE, this has traditionally been given to long-time PTA members that have served in many roles and given their time consistently year-to-year.

🤚WELCOME ABOARD AWARD🤚

New to PWE but already making a huge impact! We are looking to recognize a new parent volunteer on our campus. These individuals dive right into our school and work hard immersing themselves into our community. We cannot do what we do without recruiting brand new individuals every year. Those that lend a hand where needed and help wherever they can! They start off learning the ropes and grow into some of our best PWE leaders.

This award recognizes a new parent (1–2 years) who has jumped in and volunteered with heart.

💪MAN ON CAMPUS AWARD💪

What would we do without our dads on campus? As a result of the strong presence of active volunteers in our community who are men, we would like to recognize a male at PWE who goes above and beyond for our school. Whether it be behind the scenes putting together school equipment, setting up for events, bringing lunch to teachers or opening car doors in the carpool line every day, these dads don’t hesitate to show up when called. They deserve a shoutout too!
