The May PTA meeting will feature a special presentation of interest to parents. Learn about today's new media and how we can keep ourselves and our children safe, smart, and responsible. Join us May 18th at 6:00pm.

This is an adult education presentation. Children will be doing a media activity in the library so please have them bring their device.

Teacher Appreciation Week at PWE is this week, May 15th-19th. The PTA has a lot of fun planned, but don't forget to shower your teachers and staff with love and appreciation and remind them of all the reasons we are all so proud to be Panthers!

Spirit Night at Taco Joint is Tuesday, April 25th from 4-9pm. Come enjoy a delicious dinner with PWE friends and support your school at the same time!

International Night is this Thursday, April 20th, 5:30-7:30pm.

Food trucks begin serving at 5:30 so come early to beat the lines. Options include Korean tacos, standard American fare (pizza, hot dogs) and Kona ice!

Festival activities begin at 6:00. Check out new games, arts and crafts, bring home fun prizes, and sample international fare. This is a great way for our children to learn more about other cultures!

Submit your yearbook order by Friday, March 31st to guarantee that your kiddo will have the coolest memento from this school year. You may order online at www.pwepta.org (once logged in, go to Store > Yearbook) or complete the order form in Tuesday's folder.

Results from the statewide Reflections art competition are available and one of our very own has received top honors! Violet Scamardo was awarded the top honor of Outstanding Interpretation for her photograph titled "The Glasses Picture" (pictured here and viewable via the link below). She will be invited to present her entry during Texas PTA's LAUNCH event this summer and advances to the national-level of judging. Congratulations Violet!
