Panther Palooza 2025 Volunteers

LEAVE YOUR MARK on Panther Palooza! Come be a Volunteer!

It takes a lot of volunteers to help run an event of this size! Please sign up to help with a shift or two or how ever many you'd like! This is a great opportunity to get grandparents, aunts, uncles, older siblings, and family friends involved in our sweet school! There is plenty of time to work a shift or two and still have fun with your kiddo(s).

 

Student Volunteers:  Please fill the game spots.  Students needing signatures for their completed hours should conclude their shift at the volunteer booth.

 

Adult Volunteers:  Please fill any spot you like, but we do need ADULTS in the ride/inflatable shifts. Please complete the volunteer application  if you have not already done so for the 2025/26 school year.  Student volunteers will not need to fill it out.

 

When you arrive, please check in at our volunteer booth in the school cafeteria. Questions can be directed to the PWE PTA Carnival Chair at  vpcarnival@pwepta.org

PARENT VOLUNTEERS: We will begin INDOOR set up right after school at 3:15 PM. We will plan to stay until 6:00 PM but of course you are welcome to come and leave whenever you need to. Even one hour will be a huge help! Children are welcome to be with you, but please bring a tablet to occupy them.

Dig for Dinos
Children use shovels to dig for eggs that are hidden in a pool of shredded paper. Everyone is a winner! Great opportunity for someone who wants or needs to sit in a chair the whole time. Ring Toss
Children will throw a ring and try and land it on a cone. This is an indoor opportunity. Please check in at the volunteer booth upon arrival 5 minutes prior to start time.

Lollipop Tree
Children get to throw rings at lollipops on a wooden "tree" and see which one they get. If they don't ring a larger lollipop, they get a dum dum. Everyone is a winner! Great opportunity for someone who wants or needs to sit most of the time- you will just have to replace the lollipops as children win them. Please check in at the volunteer station upon arrival and allow for 5 minutes in case training is needed.

Milk Jug Bowling
Bowling- but with milk jugs instead of pins. Good opportunity for people of all ages as long as you can keep setting up the milk jugs when they're knocked over. This is indoors. Please check in at the volunteer station upon arrival and allow for 5 minutes in case training is needed.

Pork Chop Downs
One of the fan favorites- children get to race battery powered pigs and see who wins! Good for all volunteers but not a lot of sitting as you will need to replace the pigs after each race. Please check in at the volunteer station upon arrival and allow for 5 minutes in case training is needed.

Sugar Stroll
This is the cake walk! Play music and let the kids walk around the numbers. Music stops, pick a number and they win! Kids will win a cookie each time, but on the half hour and hour they will win a cake! This is an indoor opportunity. Please check in at the volunteer booth 5-10 minutes before your shift.

Panther Mascot
5th-8th Grade students have the opportunity to wear the panther mascot costume. They will need to greet guests and to take pictures with them. This can be super fun, and is a perfect way for your outgoing, confident kid to get involved. It gets warm inside, so shift are 20-30 min each, and you should dress in light clothing.

Children use a slingshot to sling a ball into angry birds that are stacked on wooden crates. Good volunteer opportunity for anyone who is willing to re-stack the angry birds every time they are knocked down. This game is outdoors. Bounce balls into your opponents cups to eliminate them from play -- but avoid the black cup! Fun ricochet action as balls bounce every-which-way with tiered design.
