Purchase School Supplies by 7/15

Order your school supplies online NOW through July 15! No in-person sale will take place at school, nor will supplies be offered on our PTA website. Click here to be directed to the EPI site where you can purchase a grade-level supply kit that will be delivered to your child's classroom by the first day of school.

This is not a fundraiser for the PTA. This is a service PTA offers to our families and the teacher-preferred method for school supplies at Prestonwood. Families typically save up to 40% by utilizing this quick and easy online offer!

School Supply Packs for the 2018-2019 school year can be purchased NOW through June 24th. School Supply Packs will be delivered directly to your child's classroom prior to the first day of school.

Go to www.educationalproducts.com/shoppacks and enter the School ID PRE004. Follow directions to complete your order and keep your online confirmation as your receipt.

It's going to be a GR8 day!

8:00am: Volunteer Check in (Gym)
8:30am-11:30am: Buddy Fun Day (Gym & Playground)
11:30am-12:30pm: School-wide Picnic (Playground)

So...what is Buddy Fun Day?
Buddy Fun Day is PWE's version of a classic field day.

What can I do to help?

As you can imagine, it takes a TON of volunteers to run a school-wide event like this...roughly 100! Sign up to work a station under the Volunteer menu > Buddy Fun Day Volunteer (must be logged in).

Your auto-generated confirmation email will include detailed instructions for the day of the event.

If you have a Future Panther not at PWE yet, they are welcome to tag along as long as it doesn't interfere with your attention to your volunteer station.

Volunteer shifts are from 8:00am - 11:30am. Stay after your shift for the school-wide picnic if you like. Just be sure to pack your lunch and picnic blanket!

Back by popular demand...VOLUNTEER T-SHIRTS!

Every grade level will be wearing a different color shirt, teachers will be in pink, and volunteers in purple. For just $4.25, you can join in the fun! Orders must be placed online by May 13th. Go to the Store menu and select Buddy Fun Day Volunteer Tee (must be logged in; no exchanges or refunds). The link takes you to our vendor's home page to order through their system. Shirts will go home with your oldest child the week of Buddy Fun Day.

Bring used books to class by Friday, February 2nd.

The 2 classes with the most books receive a delicious treat. Every class with more than 100 books receives a Pajama Party!

The Book Drive accepts all genres (including DVDs and CDs) EXCEPT Library discards, VHS tapes, cassette tapes, magazines, pamphlets, coloring books, comic books, badly torn or dirty books, books without covers, or National Geographic magazines.

If you have access to copy-paper boxes, we can use them!

Donate a new pair of athletic shoes to the RISD Council of PTAs Clothes Closet Shoe-Shoe Train!

Please place new athletic shoes in the donation box in the hallway as you enter our school through the main entrance.

The RISD Council of PTAs Clothes Closet provides clothes, basic toiletries, and a NEW PAIR OF Athletic SHOES to more than 400 students each year.

Donations are due by Tuesday, January 30th, and will be presented at the RISD Council of PTAs Founders Day meeting on February 1st at 9:00am at Berkner High School. All are welcome to attend.
