Veggie Star Lunch!

The Prestonwood PTA is excited to have the Veggie Star Lunch Program again this school year!HOW IT WORKS:

As part of our Healthy Lifestyles program, we host Veggie Star Lunch as a fun and easy way to positively reinforce healthy food choices. Volunteers hand out tickets to students "caught" eating their vegetables. Those tickets are entered into a random drawing for a chance to win extra recess for their class!

Research shows that kids eat the least amount of vegetables.  So, we want to recognize students who eat their veggies from the school lunch line or bring them in their lunch box!

Would you like to volunteer at the school and help "catch" a kid eating their veggies during lunch? We have lots of opportunities throughout the school year where you can help.
